The Australian Tango Dance Challenge (ATDC) qualifying rounds start in March in Sydney. The event is organised by Sima Oertli of the Sydney Tango Salon (STS) Festival. It's not too late to register! It's open to all amateur tango dancers. There are two categories: Beginners and an Open Level. Beginners level is for dancers who have been dancing up to eighteen months.

The grand prize for the Open Level winning couple are return tickets Sydney/Buenos Aires and six nights as guests of Mariposita de San Telmo, Buenos Aires!

The ATDC & STS Festival are also hosting workshops in Sydney in April as preparation for the Challenge. Instructors are the internationally renowned Carolina Bonaventura and Fernando Galera!
