So Tango, in its support of Tango's growth and development in Sydney, is proud to recommend to Sydney's Tango and Latin dance music lovers AL ROJO TANGO - live on Saturday 20th June!
AL ROJO TANGO plays for one-night only in Sydney with an all-star international cast of musicians, dancers and vocalist direct from Buenos Aires, plus special guests. This is a Milonga & Social Dance Latin Extravaganza - which means you can dance Tango and other Latin dances on the night! South American cuisine is available on the night.
When: 7pm sharp to 1am
Where: The Polish Club, 182 Liverpool Road, Ashfield, Sydney.

VIP reserved tables including dinner are $50 p/p with limited capacity
General entry without dinner and with no reserved table are $25 p/p

The organisers' credits include television shows "Dancing With The Stars" , "So You Think You Can Dance", "Darling Harbour Fiesta", "A Night In Buenos Aires" and "Dance Dance Dance".
About the Show
AL ROJO TANGO (Red Tango) is a creation of music director Elian Sellanes who has made numerous international tours in Canada, USA and Mexico amongst others. The show tells in brief about the birth and evolution of tango from its roots in Argentina towards its spread to the rest of the world by the hands of great artists such as Carlos Gardel and Piazzolla.
These grand artists are honoured during the show at various passages through short stories, images, staging and choreography thus leading the audience through time is a series of short scenes.
Elian Sellanes as a pianist is accompanied by Pablo Guzzo on Double bass who graduated at the Conservatorium of the Province of Mendoza (Argentina) who has completed various national and international tours, clinics of electric and double bass. The rising star is Juan Cruz Miranda is on guitar and the special guest is Silvia Gabriela who was the the prime vocalist of one of the most important Argentinean orchestras directed by the world renowned Maestro Calo who was a musician for Carlos Gardel.
The artistic direction of choreographies has been designed by the renowned multi-award
winning artist Fabio Robles who is well known for his work on TV hit show "So You Think You Can Dance" and is a consecutive previous winner of the "Australian Tango Championships".
"Al Rojo Tango" is presented by the Centro Social y Cultural Argentino de NSW.
