Which do you fancy?
or ....
If dances could be compared to drinks - tango would be red wine, vals - champagne and milonga would be tequila!
In the May to July 7-week course we will be focusing on how to dance the romantic Argentine 'vals' and the cheeky 'milonga' (milonga meaning the dance as opposed to the place).
We are excited about exploring these beautiful dances with you and we know it's going to do wonders for your musicality! Further, it's important to know how to dance milonga and vals if you want to dance tango socially as they are always played at milongas (the place).
The great thing about learning these dances, if you already know some tango, is that you don't have to learn lots of new moves - you an use what you already know - only in a different way to suit the different rhythms. We will teach you how to apply your existing repertoire to milonga and vals, and you might learn a few new moves as well.
Here's more details on these courses which are offered at North Sydney and Bondi. Both venues cover the same content each week - making it possible to swap between them to complete your course.
Lesson videos and study notes are provided with the course.
