Bio

From Tokyo to Sydney via the World:

A tango devotee since 2013, Hosei's journey began in Santiago de Chile, evolving from Cuban salsa roots into a lifelong passion for tango. 

Hosei started DJing at his own Sunday practica in 2019, and soon after, got invited to play at lots of Sydney milongas. He has also DJ'd in Japan and Bangkok. 

Originally from Tokyo, Hosei now calls Sydney home, where he keeps sharing his love for tango through dancing and music.

DJ Style: 

As a DJ, Hosei loves playing traditional tango music but always adds a little modern twist with some fresh orchestral sounds.

Behind the Decks:

• Frequent Guest DJ at Milonga SoFeliz, Tango Synergy, and Patio de Tango

• Former DJ at **Milonga Gioia** (Sydney)  

• Launched his DJ journey at his own Sunday *practica* (2019)

• International gigs in **Bangkok** and **Japan
