The power of the tango hug

Therapists frequently refer to the embrace  as one of the most effective methods of healing body, mind and soul. Hugs create a feeling of peace, connection and gratitude that help us stay positive. As tango dancers we are blessed with the opportunity for multiple, extended hugs every time we go out dancing! The embrace or 'el abrazo' is what makes the tango such a unique and special dance.
