'Is tango the only dance you teach?"

When asked the question 'Is tango the only dance you teach?', as I frequently am, I usually give a long-winded reply to justify why it is indeed the only dance I choose to teach. 

Today this comment by my friend, tango blogger and teacher Terpsichoral Tangoaddict caught my eye:

"My approach to tango is holistic: to me it's a culture, not just a dance. I'm not coming from a dance school background where it's one partner dance among others." 

That statement sums up perfectly why I only teach Argentine tango!
