Interview with Murat Erdemsel Part 1

Post date: Jan 5, 2015 3:33:16 AM

Here is a link to Part 1 of an excellent series of interviews with one of my favourite tango teachers / dancers. I love Murat's intellect as well as his energy and dance, and the way he is so committed to the social aspect of tango. Murat is interviewed by German tango aficionado / blogger Cassiel:

Here's some of my favourite parts of the interview:

where Murat discusses his approach when doing displays at Milongas:

"Our main projection in our performances is to dance and show the audience the awesome sound of the music first, second we want to demonstrate an elegant relationship as our selves being a mature couple in a marriage for 10 years. 3rd, a quality of movement, that is soft, smooth and peaceful while playful."
