So you think you can dance ana fabio tango

Enjoyed watching So You Think You Can Dance last night. Don't usually watch the show but wanted to see Ana and Fabio's routine - danced by two male contestants - Sam and Stephen. The dance was to the song Assassin's Tango (from Mr & Mrs Smith movie). The theme of the dance was two men duelling. The style was contemporary jazz with plenty of ganchos, ochos, and leg wraps thrown in! It was a beautiful routine.

One of the dancers, Stephen, was from an Argentinian family. There was footage of him and his granny watching videos of his grandfather dancing tango. His grandfather loved tango and in fact passed away whilst dancing tango. His granny said she had not seen another family member dance tango since she had tangoed with her husband.  The dance had thus particular significance for Stephen who danced with great presence and at the end of the routine there were tears in his eyes.

You can see the episode here so-you-think-you-can-dance-australia/2014/4/3

You'll have to put up with lots of ads, as is usual with commercial TV, but hang in there!  Sam and Stephen's dance is at 44:20 - 47:13.
