Facts

1) He was born on October 10th, 1902 in Villa Crespo

2)  He started learning the  violin, then urged by his brothers Felix and Eustaquio, he switched to bandoneon at the age of 15.

3) His first real orchestra was working with Edgardo Donato and Roberto Zerrillo.

4) The first major step in his career was working with a man that would literally change his life... Julio de Caro

5) He replaced Luis Petrucelli and got to play with another Tango luminary - Pedro Maffia.

6) In 1934 he formed his first orchestra for the RCA Victor. and proceeded to form several more orchestras over the years based on De Caro's ideas.
