Wonderful artwork will be on display for a silent auction. Bring some cash and take home a piece of art that you love!

Your participation and donations will help to build the primary school, Hosanna Gardens  Academy in Mikameni, Kenya. You can find out more about the school here.

Come and be entertained by their gifted international artists which will include a tango display by local tango dancers!

Here is a message I received from the event organiser and tango aficianado Gabbie Koak:

"When I first heard about the story of two Priests who desperately needed funds to finish the construction of a school for the children in the poorest area in Kenya. It reminded me about my childhood when my school was sponsored for a school trip to the city, Seoul.

It was one of the most exciting event ever to have happened to me at that time. I can clearly remember feeling so excited because it was my very first trip to the city. I can never forget the feeling of awe seeing how big, different and incredible the city looked through my eyes.

I now understand the kind heart who donated the money to my school which made the school trip happened. I will never know who they are but their act of kindness and generosity had greatly impacted my life.

I realize that I have received so much from kind people knowingly unknowingly.

I have been having this desire to give back and I feel that now is the time for me to pay back in anyway I can. So I searched around and came across these two Priests whom have been praying for a long time to finish the school project. When I heard that the Priest who is currently working in Kenya right now is visually impaired, I was incredibly touched and moved by their story hence I have decided to help them.

Education is the best tool you can have in life. And a precious gift you can give to those who are in need.

My Mom can’t read and write because she had to work in the fields since she was young. Unfortunately, she never had the opportunity to learn and have an education. She still asks the bus drivers where the destination of the bus is.

I don’t know how we are going to reach the goal, however I believe in miracles and the power of love.

Please feel free to join me on this meaningful journey.

With all my love, Gabbie"
